The place was packed when we got there. That's how you know it's good! We waiting about 30 minutes before we got sat. We were a table of 9 though so o thought that was pretty quick. There's a cute little dinner feel to the place. The food was delivered quickly and hot! Everything from the skillets to the pancakes look smelled and tasted amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

I regret all of the time I've wasted not coming here for breakfast. This unassuming Speedway institution offers a nice bar area where friendly locals hang out and is decked out in race decor. I found the carpeting unusual for a restaurant but they manage to keep it visibly clean. The breakfast menu will take some time to get through. I got the Charlie Brown bowl and opted to stick with toast on the side instead of upping to biscuits and gravy, which is what I really wanted. The bowl came out hot, was full of bacon, cheese, and my eggs were perfect. It looked small when I got it but I managed to eat only half. Charlie Brown's has great prices, uncomplicated food and great service. Our server kept our coffee full, even as we sat around catching up. The place does fill up and there will be a line starting at 9 AM on Sunday. I'll keep this in mind when I go back for that biscuits and gravy.

The food was great. The service was quick and the were crowded. A lot of locals eating at Charlie's. Make sure if you are in Speedway indiana you stop on and have some comfort food.

The best part of Speedway (don't tell the Indy 500)! When I think of a perfect diner, I think if Charlie Brown's. Their staff are the nicest around, the food comes out fast and hot, and they just expanded their menu to add more vegetarian options (like these peppered biscuits and gravy ). If you're visiting Indy, you need to eat at Charlie Brown's!

The food here is outstanding. The atmosphere is adorable, and reminds me of an old-school diner. The food was really good. I highly recommend this restaurant.
